Some of the natural attractions that lure visitors to the area are the Caves of Han and the Grotto of Dinant. These caves are some of Europe’s largest and most beautiful and are situated within a Wildlife Reserve filled with native flora and fauna. In addition, the city’s landmark, The Collegiate Church of Notre Dame was rebuilt in Gothic style on its old foundations after falling rocks from the adjacent cliff partially destroyed the former Romanesque style church in 1227.

Ardennes Forest
The Ardennes, also known as the Ardennes Forest or Forest of Ardennes, is a region of extensive forests, rough terrain, rolling hills and ridges primarily in Belgium and Luxembourg, extending into Germany and France.
The unique terrain of tight forests, caves and cliffs is excellent for hiking, biking and camping. Ardennes Forest is home to wild boar, deer and lynx and hides a number of friendly villages, lots of castles and a few other notable sights. The impressive caves of Han-sur-Lesse, the castle of Bouillon and the modern Labyrinth of Barvaux are some of the must-sees.
