This was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012, and the islands are a landscape lover’s dream. Ngardmau

Ngardmau is one of Palau’s sixteen states and is located on the west side of Babeldaob, the largest island of Palau. The long drainage basins of the Biongradid and Irur Rivers run through Ngardmau, and near the upper reaches of the Diongradid is a large waterfall.

The Ngardmau waterfall is the tallest fall in Micronesia and can be reached via a rough 30-minute jungle hike or monorail. The curtain of water plunges from an overhang into an inviting pool beneath, creating a breathtaking landscape and a great opportunity for a max-pressure shower.
