best places to visit in madagascar
Ifaty
Ifaty is a place in southwestern Madagascar, bordering two ecoregions of the country, namely the thorny scrub and mangrove forests.
A single name for a duo of resorts, Ifaty (and its bigger brother of Mangily, which is also now referred to as Ifaty too) is a stretch of sun-kissed fishing villages on the island. Widely known for their luxurious hotel resorts and wide beaches of shining yellow sand, they draw some of the biggest crowds in the country. Most visitors come to enjoy the sun, sea, and some of the best-in-the-world snorkeling offered by the Indian Ocean.
