Kingston

Kingston is the administrative center of the Australian external territory of Norfolk Island. The settlement is the second oldest in Australia, founded a little over a month after Sydney.

Kingston is part of the World Heritage Site of Kingston and Arthur’s Vale Historic Area designated for its historical significance. There are also four museum buildings within the World Heritage Site, collectively called the Norfolk Island Museum. Other than these museums, there are lots of other historic buildings that you can see independently and for free. Norfolk Island National Park is a protected area of 6.50 km² in the South Pacific Ocean, about 1,471 km off the East coast of Australia.
